Newtownards boy Aaron was a mid-season signing for Ards in January 2006, a few months after returning to the country from a playing spell in Australia. Before that he had turned out for Crusaders and been on the fringes of a Linfield team. He is undoubtedly the lynchpin of the Ards midfield with more than a touch of flair that helped him to three best player awards at the end of last season. He's a former club captain and has represented Northern Ireland at under 18 level in the past.
