Another award
that always generates much interest was that for Goal of the
Season. Voted for by fans on the website forum, this prize
went to Paul Dickson for his finish after an excellent move
against Banbridge in March.

The
Ards directors' Player of the Year was Jim
McIlhagga, presented with his award by Brian Adams |
The Ards
board of directors also nominated their top player and they
chose midfielder Jim McIlhagga.
Finally,
chairman Brian Adams explained that the annual Club-Person
trophy had this year been awarded to a group. Felt by many to
be the most positive initiative at the club for some time, the
directors happily presented the James Boal Trophy to the
members of the Bring Ards FC Home campaign.
