Player Of The Year Awards 2004/05
Players, officials and supporters of Ards Football Club gathered on Saturday evening to celebrate the best of the 2004/05 season with the annual presentation of awards.
Marty Hunter, with two Player of the Season awards and Aidan Watson with two Young Player and the coveted Players' Player of the Year trophies were the big winners at the well supported function in the Ards Sports Club.

Prizes were given out firstly by the football club itself and then by the Premier Ards Supporters' and the Red & Blue Ards Supporters' clubs. The traditional award from within the dressing room was also made.
James Forsythe, who made two appearances for the first team was named as Seconds Player of the Year, while Ryan Tumilty took the respective award for the Colts team.

Away from the players awards, there was also a presentation made to the Club Person of the Year and that prize was picked up in its fourth year by team attendant Alan Gregg.
Presentations of a specially struck medal were also made to players Aidan Watson, Tennant McVea and Andrew Waterworth in recognition of all three having represented Northern Ireland at youth level in the past season.
