Ards Colts put last week's result against Cliftonville behind them on Saturday by picking up three points at home to Coleraine.
The Ards side missed a hatful of chances in the first half, while restricting the visitors to one or two half chances. Ryan Newberry made his return to action and was involved in the play until early in the second half when he had to be withdrawn.
Defender Mark Drysdale struck the post with a 65th minute penalty kick, awarded for a foul on Sharratt and it seemed as though Ards would not score. Some misfortune in the Coleraine box then gifted the ball to Thomas Gorman he slammed in the opener.
Another mistake, this time by the goalkeeper presented Ards with goal number two, taken well by substitute Ross Corry. The same then played struck a third for Ards straight from a cross five minutes from the end to wrap up the points.
Ards are at home to Ballymena United on the free Saturday, 17 November at Londonderry Park at 2pm
