Carnegie Youth League: Ards Colts 5-0 Limavady Utd IIIs
13th October 2007

The Colts kept up their high scoring efforts with a 5-0 Youth League win over Limavady Thirds at Londonderry Park on Saturday.

Just one defeat in seven competitive starts this season for Lee Forsythe's team, who sit near the top of the Section B table. The opening goal against Limavady came from Matt McFall, who lobbed the goalkeeper with an attempted cross.

Number two came courtesy of a Sharratt cross, smashed in brilliantly by Craig McConkey. Before the half time break a corner delivered onto the head of Tony Tumelty produced Ards' third goal to bury any chance of a Limavady comeback.

Tumelty struck again in the new half with a predator's strike from inside the area and McConkey later joined him on two goals apiece, shooting into the corner of the net, from the edge of the 18.

Ards go to Ballymoney next Saturday to continued their league programme
