Another Saturday, another win in the youth league for Ards Colts, this time 2-0 over Carrick Rangers.

Leading scorer Tony Tumelty had the side in front on 6 miuntes and the Colts then proceeded to miss a hatful of chances throughout the remainer of the half.

That ensured Carrick always remained in the game until the result was finally secured two minutes from the end thanks to a great strike from Gary Sharratt that should put the Colts four points ahead at the top of the section.

Next Saturday's game is against fellow league challengers Cliftonville at Mallusk playing fields (2pm)
