Ards Colts recorded an excellent pre-season win on Saturday, turning over Abbey Villa Seconds.

Star of the show was Davy Moore who knocked in four goals the in 6-3 win. The very young Colts side, managed again this season by Lee Forsythe, added further goals through Craig McConkey and Chris Cowden.

Most of the side will be involved in action again this Monday evening as Ards take part in the Ards Council Cup competition. The second round match against Portaferry Rovers takes place in Londonderry Park at 7.15pm.

The Ards Under 18 B team were also in action today against Abbey Villa 3rds. A goal from Barry Crawford helped them to a one-all draw.
