Ards Colts came from a goal down on Monday night to beat Belfast side Newington 3-2.

The under 18s were behind at half time but strikes from Tony Tumelty and Gary Sharratt put the opposition on the backfoot.

A lapse at the back allowed Newington back into the game and for a time it looked as though the match would end level. But then three minutes from time, in nipped Sharratt again to grab the winner.

Glentoran Colts visit Londonderry Park on Wednesday evening for the final warm-up match (kick-off 7pm) before the league season gets underway on Saturday with the Colts travelling to Coleraine.
