Fans
say farewell to Dickson
Paul
Dickson bowed out of Ards on Saturday with his final
appearance before he emigrates to Australia, having
been wished well by the Ards fans.
The
popular utility player bowed out of his last match
after 56 minutes on Saturday to the applause of the
supporters and he'll now look forward to jetting out
to Perth early next week.
For
Paul, it will be a return to the country where he
spent time both working and playing some years ago,
alongside fellow Ards player Aaron McKee.
The
player plans to spend a year in Australia, enjoying
some travelling and also hopes to pick up a club when
the domestic league gets underway in mid-March.
Last
weekend Paul was surprised to receive a going away
gift from the Ards supporters, many of whom had
contributed generously to it.
Dickson
signed for Ards two years ago from HW Welders and in
that time played 78 games and scored seven goals from
his positions in midfield and at right-back.
