Dromara Village 2-2 Ards

Ards earned a two-all draw against Dromara in Saturday's friendly with Ross Arthurs twice on the scoresheet.

All the goals came before half-time with Arthurs' putting Ards in control before the hosts struck back. Goalkeeper Graeme McKibbin was guilty of some misjudgment as he lost the flight of the ball from a corner that led to Dromara's first.

A second from Arthurs then restored the Ards lead before the home side then equalised once again with a free shot from the back post.

The second period was much of a non-event with no further goals and the usual raft of changes disrupting the flow. The team will hope to get back to competitive action next Saturday against Banbridge.
