Currie
makes emergency signing
Ards have been given special permission to sign goalkeeper Jack Duffin on loan, following a training ground injury to Graeme McKibbin.
The club applied for and received clearance from the Irish Football Association to make the signing, after the club's only goalkeeper McKibbin sustained an ankle injury in training this week. The injury is expected to keep Graeme on the sidelines until Christmas at least and so Niall Currie had to move fast to have a stand-in registered prior to this weekend's match at home to Larne. The new signing is 19 year-old Cliftonville goalkeeper Jack Duffin, who will remain with the club until 1st January. The stopper debuted for Cliftonville in February 2010 and has made a handful of first team appearances since then. 2nd December 2011
