Malachians game confirmed

Ards will play the Steel & Sons Cup fourth round match with Malachians on Saturday 3rd October, the Irish Football Association has confirmed.

With Ards due to play Ballinamallard United in the 2nd round of the Co-Operative Insurance Cup on 26th September a clash of cup games was looming, which has now been settled by Monday night's directive from the IFA.

The Ballinamallard game will go ahead on Saturday 26th at Dixon Park, with the match against Malachians being played a week later at Grove Playing Fields (kick-off 2.30pm).

The knock-on of matches means a new date will have to be found for Ards' trip to Coagh United, which has now been postponed.
