Gary Clifford is somewhat of an Irish League stalwart, having been a regular fixture for Distillery during the late-nineties. He starred at right-back then but in recent years has been more at home in midfield. He spent some time on loan at Carrick Rangers last season and, following a period out injured during this year, will be looking to finally establish himself in the Ards side.
