Ards supporters are being asked to get involved in the Daily Mirror's Get Your Kit On scheme and help the club obtain a range of training gear.

The promotion kicks off in this Monday's Daily Mirror (1st October) and runs for eight weeks, during which time the paper will print varying amounts of tokens in each issue, from Monday to Saturday.

Ards FC is one of the hundred registered intermediate and junior clubs taking part in the scheme, which is being co-ordinated for the club by the Premier Ards Supporters. All we ask fans to do is purchase a copy of the Daily Mirror every day for the next eight weeks and collect the tokens that will go towards new kit, wet gear and training equipment for each of the Ards sides from 1st team down to youth level.

A collection box will be placed in the Ards Sports Club for supporters to pass their tokens on. This will require a huge collective effort, so the club encourages every supporter to get involved, all for the price of a daily newspaper.
