Club chairman Brian Adams was delighted to receive a full playing strip from Ards supporters on Saturday - the rewards of taking part in the Daily Mirror's Get Your Kit On scheme.

Over eight weeks in October and November supporters collected tokens printed every day in the Daily Mirror. A range of playing kit and training gear was available to be won, with the Ards supporters doing well enough to a full playing strip.

A strip of 16 shirts, shorts and socks, bearing the Mirror logo were presented to the club on Saturday by Keith Bailie, who had co-ordinated the project.

The strip will be worn in the Players v Supporters match on 10th May before being donated to the Ards Under 17s to play in next season.
