Six Receive Treatment this Week
17th October 2007

Ards physio John Weatherup was kept busy at Tuesday evening's training session, as he saw to a number of players who had been on the end of some rough treatment at Loughgall on Saturday.

Johnny Cleary
Gary Clifford

Three from the starting eleven, David Cully, Ryan Newberry and Johnny Cleary, had to substituted during the game because of injuries sustained and a further couple of players finished the match at less than 100 percent. The positive news coming from the physio though is that no player is yet ruled out of next Tuesday's semi-final against the same opposition.

David Cully, who was withdrawn from the action early on, has a badly bruised toe, while Ryan Newberry should have no trouble recovering from a dead leg. There is some concern however about Johnny Cleary, who injured ligaments during the game, although this injury is not though to be of the severest kind.

Substitutes Ricky Billing and Gary Clifford have sought attention from the team physio for their respective knocks, while Johnny Roy is recovering from an ankle injury.

Ards have no match this Saturday, due to the Divisional competitions, and have not sought a friendly game.
