Experienced Johnny Shaw proved to be one of the lynchpins of Ards' campaign last season. The former Linfield player performed admirably in a right-back role and really excelled in the centre of the park, opening up options for the manager. He's best known for his time at Crusaders in the earlier part of the decade, and prior to joining Ards turned out for PSNI in the Second Division.
