Launch 2002/03
Ards
unveiled their new playing strip this week with
the help of the Ards Pumas and members of the new
Ards under 14 side.
 The official launch of
the new kits, manufactured by ACS and sponsored
by local environmental services firm AES Limited
took place over lunch at the Ards Sports Club,
where Ards' PR Officer Sinead Fitzgerald had
gathered the local media.
On
hand to model the new tracksuits were first team
players John Bailie and Darren Nixon, along with
team attendants John Wilton and Alan Gregg.
Representing the sponsors was Stephen Hollinger.
The
new deal with suppliers ACS will see all of the
Ards sides right down to the junior squads
turning out in the new gear, and in fact the
under 14s were the first to display the kit as
they took part in the Northern Ireland
International Soccer Festival being held in
Bangor this week.
