It may surprise some to know that Kris is starting out on his fourth year with Ards this season. He switched from Glentoran to play for Shane Reddish in 2004 and proved quite a find as he took the left-back spot at the club with ease and missed only one game in his first season. A near season-long injury followed but in the last campaign Kris showed his pedigree once again and is understandably a highly valued member of the squad.
