Injury rules McConnell out Ards will be without the services of Nathan McConnell for a number of weeks after the striker broke a cheekbone in Saturday's draw with Larne.
The Ards top scorer is believed to have suffered the injury during the first half, but felt strong enough to come out for the second half, before being withdrawn in a tactical change. Worst fears at the moment are that the injury could keep McConnell out of action for up to eight weeks. Nathan has started every game so far this season and has scored 11 goals. 7th December 2011
