The 24 year-old skipper enjoyed an excellent season with the club and inevitably caught the intention of one or two other clubs. But the Newtownards born man decided to continue his career under Tommy Kincaid and agreed to sign up for one more season.
The news will be warmly welcomed by the Ards faithful who voted Aaron a double Player of the Year winner just weeks ago. He played in all but three games during the campaign just finished and acted as team captain during the final third of the season.
Other good news coming from manager Tommy is that strikers Allan Neill and Ricky Billing will both be on board next term also.
Ricky won back to back Player of the Month awards at the end of the season and, with a late flurry of goals, challenged Justin McBride for the top scorer gong. He played just over the half the season following his move from H&W Sport and endeared himself well to the supporters.
Allan Neill struck eight goals last season and played in a combination of striker and midfield roles. The 22 year-old arrived from HW Welders last summer and was the final signing prior to the season commencing.
