Ards will have a strong representation at this season's Milk Cup tournament with eight players selected to play for County Down.

Bradley Morton, Kurtis Kane and and Matthew McFerran have been chosen to compete for the Junior side, comprising players of the under 14 age group.

The Premier squad will feature five Ards Youth players - Eoin Boyle and Shannon Drainey along with Greg Dixon, Mattie McFall and Tony Tumelty.

The action on the north-west coast begins for both sets of players on 30th July with a match against Maccabbi Haifa in Coleraine for the Junior boys, while the Premier side face Rapid Vienna in Castlerock.

The Juniors then face Athletico Medea with the Premier team playing Manchester United.

Former Ards Colts manager Kyle Spiers will also be at the tournament as a coach with the Junior side.
