Ross Arthurs Released

Manager Colin Nixon has announced that Ross Arthurs has been released.

The popular player came to the club on a loan deal from Crusaders, making his debut against Ballyclare Comrades in January 2011.

He made the switch to Ards on a permanent basis in the summer of 2011 and would go on to win two Championship One medals.  In total Ross made 215 appearances for the Red and Blues and scored 62 goals.

Of those 62 goals, the most celebrated was the last-minute winner against Bangor on the 27 December, 2014 to give Ards a 3-2 win.  A day that has since been remembered as ‘Arthurs Day’.

Manager Nixon and the board of directors would like to place on record their gratitude for the wonderful service that Ross has given the club and wish him the best of look for the future.
