Club
reflects on successful year
The
Premier Ards Supporters' Club reported a successful season of
fund-raising for the football club at their AGM, held at the
weekend.
Club members
heard how supporters raised over £3000 from various events
throughout the season, including the bowling competition, club
fun-day and 6-a-side tournament.
The
supporters' club provided sponsorship in a number of different
ways throughout the season, including match and player
sponsorship, as well as contributing to the Ards FC golf day.
The club ran
a total of 48 buses over the season - ten more than the year
before - providing a valuable service for a large number of
supporters.
The meeting
also elected the committee for the new season including Keith
Bailie as Chairman and Lesley McQuiston as Vice-chair. Andrew
McCullough will continue as Secretary, while the new Treasurer
is Paddy Williams.
The club
would like to encourage all former members to re-join the club
this season, with dues kept at £20 for adults and £10 for
seniors and under 16s. Membership forms are available for
download here
and
should be returned to either Andrew or Keith.
