Pike is August's top player

Full back Kris Pike proved himself the most consistent player of the August action by winning the first Player of the Month award this season.

Solid displays as Ards won three out of five games during the month, in which he was an ever-present, earned Kris the prize from the Premier Ards Supporters' Club.

He received his award before last Saturday's game from club chairman Keith Bailie.
