Prediction
League gets second running
The
Ards Prediction League is a season-long competition for
supporters to predict the outcome of Ards' games in the
Ladbrokes.com Championship.
The
competition has returned for a second season after
last year's successful outing, which was won by Jim
Palmer. The concept is simple enough, with fans asked
to predict the score of all the Ards league matches
before a ball is kicked on 7th August.
There
are five points available each game. Two for predicting the
correct outcome of a game, two for the exact score in the game
and a bonus point for a goal scorer.
Entry
costs £5 to take part and all prediction sheets must be
returned before the first match. There
will be a cash prize of £50 for the winner at the end of the
season and very simply the supporter with the most points
wins.
Lesley
McQuiston is once again looking after the league and
if she hasn't yet approached you at any of the
pre-season games, then feel free to download and print
off the entry form here
(Word document). Just make sure you return it to
Lesley no later than 3pm on 7th August.
Once
the competition is underway, you can keep up to date
with your progress here on the official website or
with regular updates in the match programme.
