Fitness Calls to be Made on Two
9th November 2007

Tommy Kincaid will make a Saturday morning call on whether returning duo David Cully and Johnny Cleary will be included for this weekend's match against Dundela.

Both players have been involved in training this week, with neither having played since the league game against Loughgall in mid-October. An x-ray on David Cully during the last week revealed that nothing was broken in his ankle, indicating more rest would see the problem clear up.

Johnny Cleary's injured ligaments have benefitted from the three and a half week rest since the Loughgall game and the left-back will be considered for the panel for the first time this week.

Gary Clifford remains injured indefinitely with ankle problems. He has been attending training, but only for treatment from physio John Weatherup.

Dundela sit just below Ards in the First Division table, with an identical record of two wins and two defeats in their first four games. Last season's four meetings between the sides produced two draws and a win for each; Dundela's coming at their Wilgar Park base. They are likely to field former Ards players Gary Walker and David Murphy.

Supporters should note that the game kicks off at 2pm, due to darker evenings, and the supporters' bus will leave the Sports Club at 1.15pm.
