Gareth
Corey is the longest server of the three, having
signed for the club in November 2010. He came
initially on loan from Lisburn Distillery, where he
had been on the fringes of the first team, before
making the move a permanent one. Originally signed as
a striker, he was move commonly found on the right
side of midfield. He played 30 games and scored five
goals, all of those strikes coming last season.
Adam
Arthurs arrived at Ards in the summer, having tried
out for former manager Justin McBride during
pre-season. The former Kircubbin attacker failed to
command a regular place in the side, playing in just
eleven games and did not start a match under Niall
Currie.
Left-back
Ciaran Boyd was the final signing before the summer
window closed, having spent much of last season out
injured with a broken leg. A former player with
Cliftonville and Carrick Rangers, he played 12 games
for the club this season.
Earlier
this week, Joe Finlay became the club's first January
signing, making the move from Glenavon. The striker
will take squad number 20.
