Andy agrees two year deal
Andy McDonald

Club captain Andy McDonald has led from the front again by agreeing to stay with Ards for a further two years.

The charismatic goalkeeper signed new forms in recent days that will keep him an Ards player until 2011.

McDonald has been in fine form this year - his second season with the club - and is certain to be a runner for the team's player of the season in a few weeks time.

Darren Stirling is another who will definitely be returning next season. He too has agreed a new two year deal that will extend the striker's stay with Ards to four seasons.

Stirling was last season's top goal-scorer with 19, though injury restricted him to 13 strikes this season. The player is currently serving out a suspension that will see him miss the remainder of the season.

Midfielder James Wright, who was a late summer signing from Distillery, has also agreed to stay on. The 19 year-old signed a two year contract after being an unexpected regular in the side this season.
