| Club
receives SEC donation
Ards
Football Club are very grateful for the recent work of
the Special Efforts Committee, that resulted in a
£1200 donation being made.
A
string of successful events recently has ensured a
strong start for the new fundraising committee and the
sterling work of the supporters involved has meant
that club Chairman Brian Adams was in receipt of a
cheque for £1200 this week.
To
date the SEC have arranged games and casino nights,
ran raffle and golden goal draws and just last weekend
put on a hugely successful concert for over a hundred
guests at Ards Town Hall.
Part
of this recent donation has gone towards the purchase
of new team tracksuits, as well as contributing to the
hire costs of Dixon Park.
