Three In Ahead Of League Start

Ards have added three players to their squad over the past few days off the back of last week's friendly match against Glentoran.

All three players featured in that game with a couple of them likely to provide some much-needed back up in certain areas. First up is striker Ricky Billing who played the full ninety minutes on Tuesday as a lone forward. He's a stocky looking 22 year-old who can get in amongst defences and has previously had some time with Ballymena. He joins Ards from Harland & Wolff Sport but wont feature in Saturday's game against Ballinamallard due to a pre-arranged commitment.

The other new signings are left-midfielder Chris Hunter, who looked sharp and speedy at The Oval, and right-back Darren McCullough who signs from Glentoran themselves. He has been a part of their reserve side so far this season, getting on the scoresheet in their opening game.
