Two New Faces Boost Ards Squad
8th December 2006

Manager Tommy Kincaid has added two new faces to the Ards ranks ahead of his first game in charge on Saturday.

One of those a number of fans got to have a look in last Saturday's practice match, while we should point that he has in fact played for Ards before. Michael McGaw is the man in question, a 31 year-old attacker who donned the Ards shirt away back in 1995.

He was a signing for then Seconds boss George Bowden and made two substitute appearances for the senior side in the first two matches of the season before drifting away from the scene.

The second player is young Craig McMillen from Glenavon. A well rated player by the fans there, he can play either left back or midfield and is expected to see some action against Tobermore this weekend.

Some other good news is that right-back Johnny Shaw resumed training with the club during this week. He had indicated that he wouldn't be returning following the departure of former managers Ray Morrison and Gary Hillis, but has now had a change of heart in that respect and boss Tommy Kincaid was pleased to welcome the player back.
