Experienced Irish League striker Darren arrived at Ards during January 2010 and made quite the first impression with a hat-trick on his debut. He signed from Lisburn Distillery, where he was a long-time servant and a prolific goal-scorer, helping Distillery to a number of high league finishes during the early 2000s. Also had a spell with Glentoran before returning to Distillery and certainly hit the ground running for Ards as he bagged a hat-trick on his debut.
