Darren finished last season as the top goal-scorer in Championship 1 as he continues to find the net during his second spell with Ards. He was a clear hit in his first tenure with the club too following a move from Glentoran, before cost-cutting at Ards saw him move onto Ballymena. A period out injured had him in and out of the team there and he later spent time on loan at Bangor.
