Darren is into his third season with Ards following a summer move in 2007 from HW Welders. He was well-rated by many at Crusaders, where he enjoyed a couple of seasons after spending time knocking on the door of a very good Glentoran team. A goal-scorer no doubt, though is a tad injury prone. Little known fact about Darren is that he was on Ards' books in 2000, making one appearance on the bench.
