Joe was the first signing made by Niall Currie during the January transfer window. A player the boss had kept tabs on for a number of years, Joe made the switch from Glenavon, where he had been a prolific striker for the youth team and reserves. He began playing with Lisburn Youth and took part in the Milk Cup before joining Glenavon as a 17 year-old. Well-rated by Glenavon boss Gary Hamilton, who'll be keen to see how the player progresses at Ards.
