Kyle came to Ards in the summer, having asked to be released from Carrick Rangers. The tricky winger had spent five years with the East Antrim club, but injuries last season restricted him to just 13 appearances in the league winning Carrick side. He's a former international at under 18 level and also has a First Division winner's medal from his Crusaders days. Now clear from his injury troubles, Kyle performed at both left-midfield and left-back in Ards' early season games before taking a break from football to spend three months in the USA.
