Darren
Stirling will not be returning to Ards next season,
with the striker opting to seek a new club this
summer.
The
front-man brings to an end three years with the club
that began in summer 2007 when he transferred from HW
Welders. He was Ards' top goal-scorer in his first
season with 19 goals but this year returned just nine.
The
former Crusaders player found first team appearances
limited in the second half of the season, hence his
decision to move on. Darren played 95 times for Ards
and scored 41 goals.

Another
player who will not return next season is Gary Wray.
The experienced defender was merely a bit-part player
in the last campaign due to periods of injury and
unavailability.
It
was Gary's third spell with club, having first turned
out in red and blue in August 2005. He made 50
appearances.
