Stirling Becomes Capture No.3
3rd June 2007

Ards boss Tommy Kincaid has announced the capture of striker Darren Stirling, as he continues to add to his squad.

Stirling was three years at Crusaders and spent last season on loan at HW Welders. He was previously on the books on Glentoran, although he found chances limited at the Oval.

Ards have also captured 19 year-old David Brotherston, who starts a second spell at Ards. Midfielder David was on the staff at Ards as a 15 year-old and played in the inaugural Under 16 side in 2002. In the mean time he's been with Glentoran and returns to Ards having played in the recent supporters v players challenge.

Johnny Shaw will also be staying with the club next season. The versatile player, who enjoyed an excellent first season with Ards, has re-signed again and will give the manager options both in midfield and at right-back.
