The annual friendly match between Ards and Bangor supporters ahead of the big North Down Cup game is fast approaching and the Ards squad is now being assembled.

This will be the third year of the challenge match on the Clandeboye Park surface with the series currently tied at one game each, just as the main event itself.

The game will take place as a curtain-raiser to the main match on Saturday 6th August, with a likely kick-off of around 1pm. Ards are now looking to assemble a squad of about 18 or so, with each player making a £10 donation towards their respective club.
