Tommy Kincaid has stated his intention to join in the upcoming supporters' sponsored walk, promising to complete the five mile trek alongside fans.

First team coach Andy Harwood has also vowed to take part, with rumours suggesting that he may even run the course! The pair follow in the foot-steps of former manager George Neill, who ran the distance in 2005, backed by the sponsorship of his players.

The annual walk takes place this year on 27th October and involves supporters walking from the Ards Sports Club to Clandeboye Park, prior to taking in the match against Lurgan Celtic. Midday is the estimated start time in Newtownards.

All fans are encouraged to get involved, either by completing the walk themselves or at least sponsoring one of the participants. Entry remains open and sponsor sheets are available for download here (Word file)
