Sponsored Walk Heralds League Start

Ards fans be advised that it's time to get walking again as the club kicks off plans for the third annual sponsored walk.

In conjunction with the Premier Ards Supporters' Club, Ards are encouraging supporters to get their hiking boots on and complete the five mile walk from Newtownards to Bangor on the day of our opening First Division game.

Walks have taken place for the past two years with the football club benefiting greatly from money raised. Clubs directors have already thrown their support behind the outing and encourage as many fans as possible to take up the challenge, remembering that even if you couldn't do the course yourself, then another participant would certainly appreciate your sponsorship.

The walk will take place on Saturday 7th October, when Ards face Ballinamallard United with a start around lunchtime. Sponsorship forms are already out, available from Keith Bailie or Andrew McCullough and you can get yours at this weekend's game away to Lurgan Celtic.
