Fans Get Walking For Club Funds

All Ards supporters are asked to get behind the next bit of fundraising which will be a sponsored walk to Bangor on the date of the Armagh City match.

The Premier Ards Supporters' Club are behind the idea to get as many fans as possible walking the five miles to Clandeboye Park on Saturday 29th October. A similar event last season raised funds in excess of £1000 and it is hoped that a figure such as that can be reached again.

The football club of course rely on such fundraising efforts at various times and none more so than through the month of October which sees Ards with only one Saturday home game.

So if you feel up for a Saturday lunchtime stroll and would like to join in with the banter along the way then sponsorship forms are now available. And if you aren't taking part yourself, then perhaps you might sponsor someone who is.

Forms are available from supporters' club secretary Andrew McCullough and through the Ards Sports Club.
