FOOD BANK APPEAL
NEWTOWNARDS FOODBANK APPEAL
Club chaplain Sam Magill has an important message for all Ards fans this afternoon.
Sam said, "The Newtownards Foodbank is currently experiencing exceptional levels of demand, while donations to the foodbank have fallen. Ards Football Club have launched an appeal for everyone connected with the club to consider supporting the foodbank with donations of food items.
"Patton's Bakery have already kindly agreed to donate some of their products. Even a few items can make a huge difference."
Some suggested donations include;
• Long life (UHT) milk
• Tinned rice pudding
• Tinned fruit
• Tinned pies
• Tinned ravioli
Donations can be left at the Newtownards Foodbank warehouse at Thriving Life Church, 18c Crawfordsburn Road in Newtownards between 9am and 4.30pm, Tuesday to Friday.
If you enter through the Compassion Centre Entrance you will see a food donation crate in the hallway. If you would like to donate something but cannot get to the Foodbank warehouse, please leave a comment below and we can make arrangements to collect it from you.
Please support this great cause, if possible.

ARDS FC LOTTO
The decision has been taken to stop the lotto until further notice ,We would like to thank organiser Raymond Potter for all his hard work , The Jackpot is frozen at £750 until such times as it opens again
Earlier today, the Irish Football Association decided to suspend all football in Northern Ireland until 4 April 2020 in response to the evolving situation around Coronavirus.
That means tomorrow's game with Newry City, next week's match against Loughgall and all our youth team fixtures have been postponed.
Ards Football Club would like to thank their supporters for their understanding during this difficult time.
Stay safe and look after each other. #ArdsFamily
