Dundela vs Ards.

Dundela vs Ards.

Bluefin Sport Championship.

Wilgar Park.

Saturday 15th February at 3.00 p.m.

These teams met at this venue just two months ago when Ards triumphed 3-0 in what was John Bailie's first game in charge of the Red and Blues. Since then Ards have won three, drawn two and lost two in the league, while the Duns have a similar record with three wins a draw and two defeats. Both teams were knocked out of the Irish Cup in January, but they won their last outing, with Dundela beating Ballyclare 4-2 while Ards went one better and beat Dergview 5-2 in a welcome return to the kind of form that had eluded them during a winless January.

Both teams are looking to at least cement their place in the top six before the split and the Duns have a slight advantage at the moment, sitting in fifth place with a three point lead over Ards in sixth, however a win for Ards on Saturday will move them ahead of their rivals as their goal difference is superior.

Last week's victory came at a cost for Ards with the injury to Craig McMillen, who could be out for a few weeks with ligament damage, his skill and energy will be missed. Also definitely out is Kyle Calderwood, who got in the referee's book twice last weekend by scoring and getting his fifth booking so has a one game suspension. T.J. Murray, Ben Cushnie and Salou Jallow all trained this week but are still in the doubtful category, while Caoimhin McConnell is unlikely to feature. Dylan Wilson is available again and will return to the panel.

Ards fans will probably see many familiar faces in the home team, last week's starting eleven featured Jay Magee, Michael Kerr, Gareth Tommons, Eoghan McCawl and Carl McComb, while Owain Beggs was a substitute. For those with longer memories, manager Bryan McCarroll is of course also an ex Ards player.

For fans wishing to travel, the PASC bus will leave Gibson's Lane/Social club at 2.00 p.m.
