Dungannon Preview.

Updated: Nov 2, 2018

Ards vs Dungannon.

Clandeboye Park.

Saturday November 3rd at 3.00 p.m.

Another crucial game for both teams on Saturday as they compete to get away from the wrong end of the table. A win for the visitors, currently in last place, would lift them above Ards who are in tenth position. A win for the Red and Blues would create a five point gap between them and Dungannon.

New manager Kris Lindsay brings his team down with some hope, as in their last two games they drew at Ballymena and only lost 2-1 to a late goal against Linfield last weekend. They also hold the upper hand against Ards recently as in the last five games between the sides they have three wins and two draws.

Ards manager Colin Nixon will have the usual injury problems to consider, although mostly in defence for a change. Johnny Taylor is still out and David Elebert is doubtful after going off early at the Oval last Saturday. If both are absent it is likely that Adam McAleenan will line up alongside Callum Byers with Michael Kerr being recalled to the starting line up. On a brighter note Jonny Frazer lasted nearly 70 minutes last week and is hopefully nearing full fitness.

Ards fans will be hoping the team can put the disappointment of the last two away defeats behind them and return to the form that saw them beat Linfield in their last home game.
