Four Extend Ards Stay

Ards F.C are delighted that Neil Shields, Aidan Steele, Salou Jallow and Ross Hunter have agreed to stay with the club for the 2023/24 season.

Neil joined us in January and his first team chances were limited last season due to the top form of Alex Moore but when called upon the 26 year old showed he is a more than capable replacement for our current number 1.

Aidan Steele is still only 20 and joined us on loan from Crusaders last season after spending time with Crystal Palace and Watford. He made his debut for Ards at Dungannon in the Irish Cup and his tireless displays in midfield made him a regular choice for the rest of the season.

On his day Salou Jallow is one of the most exciting players in the division, he seems to have been around for a while but is not 25 until next month, he has pace to burn and works hard for the team.

Ross Hunter is another 20 year old who joined us last season from Glenavon and quickly made a positive impression adding a few goals to his impressive work rate, if he can avoid injury he will no doubt be a valuable part of the team.
