Glenavon vs Ards.

Danske Bank Premiership.

Mourneview Park.

Saturday 24/11/18 at 3.00 p.m.

Ards travel to Mourneview Park more in hope than expectation given their recent run of results. Bizarrely although Glenavon sit only two points behind Linfield and would go top of the League if they win their game in hand, in the month of November they have gathered the same number of points as Ards have! Both teams have a draw and two defeats to show for their efforts this month and Gary Hamilton will be looking for the Lurgan Blues to clinch all three points against Ards on Saturday to keep his team in the title mix.

Ards on the other hand are in dire need of points in order to get out of the automatic relegation spot they find themselves in following last weekend's defeat at the hands of Newry City, where once again their inability to take chances cost them dear. Although Ards fans of an optimistic nature could point out that Newry keeper Andy Coleman did make some crucial saves and was selected for the Sunday Life "Team of the week".

It will be interesting to see how Ards line up for this one, will Colin Nixon shuffle the pack, or will he give last week's team another chance? Some of the best performances this season have been against the better sides and travelling fans will be hoping this is one of those occasions. Whatever the result Ards fans will also be hoping that Ballymena beat Newry on Friday night to keep Newry within touching distance.

All supporters are welcome to use the PASC bus, which will leave the Social Club/Gibson's Lane at 1.45 p.m.

Match referee is Shane Andrews.
