Join the Journey

Ards FC is committed to planning for a brighter future on and off the field of play and as

such is undertaking a strategic planning process, alongside a focus on bringing Senior

football back to Newtownards, in the form of a new home ground.

The Club would like all stakeholders to engage in this process and are developing a

Strategic Plan for 2021-2025, which will outline the clubs ambitions and priorities, not

only in relation to facilities, but across a range of aspects such as football development

and excellence, to financial growth and stability.

The club has the ambition to yet again be at the heart of the local community and

leading on football excellence. Through input from stakeholders such as sponsors,

players, volunteers, staff, coaches and supporters, the plan will document how this will

be achieved.

Even if you are not a current supporter or engaged in club activities in any way, the Club

would like to hear your views, opinions and priorities in relation to the clubs future. This

information will be used to shape the plan, culminating in a shared vision moving

towards the clubs 125th anniversary in 2025.

Chairman Warren Patton commented

“A big part of our plan is for our Local Communities to Join our Journey and get involved

in shaping the future of the Club. We welcome all our sporting neighbours from the Ards

Pennisula, across to Killyleagh and further afield to contribute. This really is an exciting

time for everyone within the Community”

To engage in the process, please complete the Strategic Plan Survey Form by clicking

The survey is open now from 11th March and will close on the 11th April 2021.

Your views and opinions can and will shape the future of Ards FC and the Club thank you

in advance for your participation.
