Match Preview: Ballymena (h)

ARDS vs BALLYMENA UTD

DANSKE BANK PREMIERSHIP

BANGOR FUELS ARENA

TUESDAY 27TH FEBRUARY at 7.45 pm

Since Ards beat Ballymena Utd 1-0 on January 20th, David Jeffrey's men have, due to their various knock-out cup exploits, only played two league games. They sit in seventh place five points behind Glentoran but with three games in hand, so will no doubt be going all out to take the three points home in an effort to clinch a potentially lucrative top six place before the split.

Ards will have the Linfield loan contingent available for selection after they were ineligible against their parent club, so Ross Clarke, Reece Glendinning and Cameron Stewart should be in the panel. Josh Kelly will miss out as he serves a one match suspension after accumulating five bookings and Dave Elebert is a doubt after being taken off injured early in Saturday's game. Whatever the team selected, supporters will be hoping for another home win against the Sky Blues to remove any lingering doubts about being dragged into a relegation play-off situation.
